We are the sole importers of Spanish slate. The slate is mined in the province of Galicia in Northern Spain, where Naturally Slate has secured the services of a number of quarries. We import four sizes of slate depending on project requirements.
The slate is between 3mm and 5mm thick and is laid in the conventional or traditional system, which gives you a triple overlap and no need for any underlay. This gives your roof a much longer life span. The total load on the roof is much less current South African slates which translates to a saving on your roof structure. The slate is attached using stainless steel storm hooks which are imported from France.
